Whispers of Autumn

The golden leaves begin to fall,

They weave their spells through woods and hall,

Each branch adorned in rust and flame,

No two alike, yet all the same.

The acorns drop with gentle sound,

They scatter soft upon the ground,

Each one a seed of life to be,

A whispered hope beneath the tree.

The hedgerows burn in copper light,

The days grow short, the air grows bright,

A hush descends where swallows flew,

And skies turn deeper shades of blue.

So let the season’s beauty stay,

Before it fades to mist and grey,

For autumn’s song, both sweet and clear,

Reminds us change is nothing to fear.
